ABOUT US

Silver Sage Ceramics is Wyoming's most comprehensive pottery supply retail store and studio, located in Cheyenne, Wyoming. 


The friendly instructors and owners you’ll meet below teach a variety of pottery classes for all ages and skill levels, including ceramic classes, handbuilding classes, wheel-throwing classes, adult pottery classes, pottery classes for kids, pottery for beginners, ceramic art classes, advanced pottery classes, and intermediate pottery classes. You can also purchase a day pass or monthly studio access membership to work independently on a project in our studio!

TAMARA RODGERS

Owner/Instructor

Tamara Rodgers is an award-winning photographer based in Cheyenne, WY where she recently expanded into underwater photography. She enjoys discovering the possibilities of merging her other passion – ceramics - with photography. She graduated from the BFA program at the University of Wyoming summa cum laude in the spring of 2020. As owner of Silver Sage Ceramics she hopes to share the joy of working with clay to the community.

DANE RODGERS

Owner

Entrepreneur at heart, Dane Rodgers graduated summa cum laude with a MBA from Trident University International. Dane has served in the Wyoming Army Guard for over 30 years.

Macey Stratton

Employee/Instructor

Macey is a self-proclaimed 'life-long art student who is always interested in learning new mediums and techniques. She graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2020. By understanding the joy of learning she hopes to teach and inspire others.

Jack Lance 

Employee

Jack is a music major at LCCC and has a great passion for clay. He plans to move to Denver after getting his associate’s to pursue a BFA in the recording arts. Jack wants to one day have his own recording and pottery studio where he can help others achieve their artistic vision, be that through ceramics or sound.
